About ZEDO Aid

Why ZEDO Aid?

ZEDO Aid is the flagship education programme of ZEDO Initiative Uganda, established to address the challenge of school dropout. We believe dropping out is rarely caused by a single factor β€” academic struggles, lack of mentorship, substance abuse, bullying, family pressures, or warning signs identified too late.

By the time a learner leaves school, the problem may have been developing for months or years. If warning signs are identified early, schools, families and communities have an opportunity to respond. ZEDO Aid focuses on that opportunity.
